Onde assistir ao “VMA 2023”: Taylor Swift lidera com 11 indicações

A edição de 2023 do VMA (Video Music Awards) acontece nesta terça-feira (12) em Nova Jersey, nos Estados Unidos. Com apresentação da rapper Nicki Minaj, a premiação musical da MTV tem Taylor Swift como a principal indicada e contará com performances de Anitta.

Este ano, o VMA vai homenagear Shakira com o prêmio por contribuição para a cultura popular “Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award”. Entre as 25 categorias (de voto público e profissional), Taylor Swift lidera com 11 indicações, à frente de SZA, com seis. Em seguida, vem Doja Cat, Kim Petras, Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj, Olivia Rodrigo e Sam Smith, com cinco indicações cada.

Nas performances, Anitta vai cantar “Back for More” com o grupo sul-coreano Tomorrow X Together. A brasileira também vai apresentar solo as músicas “Funk Rave”, “Casi Casi” e “Used to Be”. Ano passado, ela venceu o prêmio por “Envolver”, canção que entrou no Guinness Book.

Além disso, também se apresentam no evento os artistas Nicki Minaj, Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion, Olivia Rodrigo, Fall Out Boy, Lil Wayne, Doja Cat, Kelsea Ballerini, Demi Lovato, Karol G, Måneskin, Stray Kids, entre outros. O evento será transmitido ao vivo pelo site da MTV e para assinantes pelo Paramount+. Além disso, o Pluto TV também vai exibir a cerimônia através do canal MTV Pluto TV. A premiação começa às 21h, com um pré-show a partir das 19h30, apresentado por NLE Choppa, Sabrina Carpenter, Saweetie, entre outros.
